Explore historic Egmont Key on a private 3-hour excursion from Anna Maria Island. Visit historic Fort Dade, explore the ruins, walk the island and state park, enjoy shelling along the beaches, take in views of the lighthouse and surrounding Gulf waters, and experience the history and natural beauty of this unique island.

Guests are welcome to swim, float in the water, relax on the beach and enjoy the island during their visit. This experience is focused on visiting and exploring Egmont Key rather than recreational snorkeling or sandbar activities.

Recreational Equipment: Shelling nets and buckets are provided for guests to enjoy shelling on Egmont Key.

Egmont Key is not guaranteed. Wind, weather, tides, currents and marine conditions can occasionally make the crossing unsuitable even when boating conditions closer to Anna Maria Island remain safe and enjoyable. Your captain will always make the final decision based on conditions and safety.
