We sail rain or shine, so if it’s only rain, we are still going.

In short:

• Thunderstorms/Storm: Refund or reschedule.
• Heavy rain for more than 1h30: Reschedule.
• Light rain/Shower: We are going!

We are the only company on Anna Maria Island that offers a weather guarantee!

Regarding the weather, this is on our expert team to determine whether the weather is unsafe. Lightning, hurricanes, or tornadoes are unsafe weather conditions.

If the USCG issues a small craft advisory or if winds are over 25 mph, you will receive a full refund or be offered to reschedule your appointment.

If you purchase our Rain Guarantee, we will contact you on the morning of your tour if you qualify for a reimbursement per their terms & conditions.

The price of the rental is refundable but not the cost of the insurance.

If you decline to purchase the Rain Guarantee option, please keep in mind that Anna Maria Island has tropical weather; it can rain in the morning and be sunny in the afternoon, or rain for one hour and the sun will shine bright right after. Therefore, no refund will be given because of the rain. You have to purchase the rain insurance up to 5 days before the booking date; otherwise, the purchase will be refunded, and the policy will be considered not purchased.

Canceling will be at no cost only in case of thunderstorms, US Coast Guards advisory for small crafts, and winds over 25 mph.

If we advised you the weather will get better by the time of your appointment and you still decide to take a house credit and the weather is actually good at the time of your appointment, we reserve the right to charge a $100 rescheduling fee.

On a side note, to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, Crysten's AMI reserves the right to make changes to the reservation in the event the reserved boat becomes unavailable for any reason or for unsafe weather.

All bookings and sales are final. Cancellations will only be considered in the case of inclement weather, such as rain, fog, red tide, or small craft advisories issued by the national marine forecast.

CANCELLATION GUIDELINES: Please inform us at least 14 days before your scheduled charter if you need to cancel your booking. If you cancel within 14 days, 50% of the payment will be refunded to your credit card. This refund policy only applies to reservations paid in full. Partially paid reservations are not eligible for any refund. No refund will be available for cancellations made less than 14 days before the charter.

RESCHEDULING RULES: All customer requests for rescheduling are subject to a $100 fee to cover non-refundable dockage and handling costs. Captain fees are applicable for any rescheduling events within 14 calendar days (Captain rate is $50 per hour). Please note that no rescheduling will be available within 14 days of your scheduled event. However, we offer free rescheduling for adverse weather conditions (e.g., rain, fog, red tide, or small craft advisories from the national marine forecast) or mechanical issues.
