Please note the following requirements:

The operator must be at least 25 years old with a minimum of two years of boat ownership or experience.
Any individual born on or after January 1st, 1988, is required to carry a current Florida Boaters Certificate or a Valid Florida Boaters License.

Don't Have a License?

Boaters looking to rent a boat or a PWC (Personal Watercraft) in the state of Florida that were born in or after 1988, and who do not have a Boaters Safety Card (also generally referred to as a Lifetime Boating License), are required by law to take the Boaters Licensing Test to receive a Florida Temporary Boating Certificate. Your Temporary Certificate is valid for 90 days after completing the Boaters Test.
